Melissa supports Checkett, Pauly, Bay & Morgan in several areas but specializes in bankruptcy.  She has been a paralegal at the firm for over 20 years. 

Before joining Checkett, Pauly, Bay & Morgan, she worked as a litigation paralegal for Leggett & Platt, Incorporated. 

Melissa is a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Carthage.  In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and adult children as well as her gym community at Midwestern Built in Carthage.

• Pittsburg State University, Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology
